I threw a short video of our trip to Mt Hood, Oregon with our intended song.  We ended up going with something more upbeat, but I felt the need to have this footage edited to this specific song as we planned.

After a amazing month up on Blackcombs glacier, we travelled to Mt. Hood, Oregon with Max Morello to take part in a new game called SLVSH.  We found some time when he wasn’t competing to take a few laps of our own and try to stack some footage for a soon to be summer edit.  Once back home, rope swings and lakes were in full force.  We took the camera out, got a few more shots, and put together our amazing summer into a short video.

Whistler Friends takes you on a daily run through Whistler, Blackcomb’s park.  Spring brought the crew together one last time to get some shots before the season came to a end.  All the homies threw down, learning new tricks and bringing back favourites, we couldn’t have asked for a better two days!

Max Morello, Jordon Innes, Ryan German and Carlo Mion packed up the truck and headed from Whistler, BC to War of Rails in Bear Mountain, California.  Max got a spot in the am qualifications and managed to pull off a 3rd place in finals.  This carved himself a spot in pro qualifications the following day.  Battling through miracle march, Max nailed a 4th place finish in the pro category.  Heres a couple of his runs from the competition.

The International Freeski Film Festival went down this past weekend in Montreal, Quebec.  Every year this event attracts and promotes the growing ski community and showcases some of the best professional and amateur films from the season.  A few of the DU members and a whole lot of the ski community including pros came out to show support for friends, riders and idols.  The Retro party started off the weekend with a bang the first night!

Many of us woke up early Saturday morning recovering from the night and washing that hangover away with water and free North Face grilled cheeses.  Cinema Imperial packed up and a whole lot of movies were played over a four day span, with too many to name, some of the highlighted movies were Level 1 Productions – Partly Cloudy, Brotherhood Films – Our Own Way, TwoBees Media – Clair De Lune and Poor Boyz Productions – Tracing Skylines.  A shout out goes to our friends at Brotherhood Films for winning the “Best Up-and-Coming Quebec Production” and to our homie Max Morello for making a debut in the Detroit segment of Tracing Skylines.  Get your hands on these films, you don’t want to miss out!

Ending off the weekend with the infamous rocker party on the Saturday night was how majority of the people topped off the best weekend of the year!

Carlo, Blake and Stefano both departed for Whistler today to join the adventures of Max and Jesse.  It’s been snowing like crazy over there so they’ll have some good pow skiing for the week! Our girl Natalie and buddy Dan are both out there as well enjoying the snow! Give them a shout if you’re in the area and want to du a few runs! 

Jesse left us (Ottawa) on Monday in hopes to find the American Dream.  Well not really… He went to live in Whistler for 3 months.  Carlo, Stefano, Dan and Blake will all be joining this trip in a weeks time.  Look out for some footage from that trip.  You’ll probably see Max in there as well. 


We’re almost done our Campus Vacations promo video from these past ragers up at Tremeblant. It’s looking pretty fun!
