DU Originals: The Lonely Two

Back in the summer we had some free time on a Sunday. We drove to an abandoned green house property with some DU Apparel, a couple Go Pros, an expensive camera, and a couple of good friends. It was our first time filming something that was directed or had a story line and our first time using a drone. Here’s what we and mostly Jamie from Soak Studios came up with.

The Brose Farm Jam | 4th Annual

We’re super excited to announce the 4th year of The Brose Farm Jam this Saturday June 28th, 2014.

This awesome festival of dirt is unlike anything you’ve seen before! Our main event is a BMX Dirt Jump Competition featuring professional riders from across Ontario and Quebec battling it out on one of the largest BMX dirt courses open to the public in Eastern Canada. Not only have we worked hard to expand our course by 3 times it’s original size from last year, but this year riders will also be competing for $1500 in cash prizes as well as product donated from our generous sponsors.

In addition to the BMX action, local Freestyle Motocross rider Reed Boardhurst will be leading two FMX shows on our 70ft trick jump. We will also have live musical performances from Toronto’s The Junction, Motel English, and Night Wing. If you work up a hunger be sure to check out our exclusive food vendor, Urban Cowboy Eats.

As usual, overnight camping is available so don’t let being from out of town stop you from coming!

Eira Ski and Carlo Mion team up with 15 year old Max Moffatt for a few days of shooting in Whistler, Blackcomb. Keep an open ear for Max, he is a name your going to be hearing for many years to come.

Brendens Dad came out to Whistler to film for the weekend and puts out another hammer edit. Check out Breid rip up Whistler and Blackcomb Park in 2 minutes.

This is DU, This is our Family | 2013 Recap

2013 was a crazy season for the DU family. Together the team managed to rack up over a dozen podium wins around the Quebec, Ontario and Whistler regions. Our artists played at some of the biggest festivals in the province and spun at the biggest nightclubs in North and South America. We may not have made it to all, but in 2013, DU Media set off to capture a few of the journeys that follow our lifestyle. We put together this short video to show a little of our background, this is DU and this is our family.
